Doesn't this look yummy?

I just made this salad and Ryan's going to be home late, so I thought I would photograph it so he could see what it looked like when it was fresh. It will probably be brown by the time he gets home. I ate mine already. It was as good as it looks. Plus I got to use my Sicilian olive oil and basil from my pathetic little basil plant. Come over some time and I'll make it for you!

Recycle your old cell phone or ink cartridges!

Do you have an old cell phone that you never use? If so, there are two great websites that you need to know about. The first is Wireless Recycling. They have instructions on how to erase all personal data off your phone. The second is Recycle for Breast Cancer. Not only can you recycle cell phones, but PDAs and ink cartridges too. They'll send you a pre-paid stamp via email or a package if your donation is bigger. And all the money they make goes to the fight against breast cancer.

Johnny Depp can do no wrong.

Do go see "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory". It's better than I expected and Johnny Depp makes a charming, likeable Willy Wonka. I haven't read the book in at least a decade, so I can't say for sure if this version is more accurate to the book than the version with Gene Wilder, but I can say that the two films are different enough that you won't be comparing them to each other.

They're up, and there's at least one crotch shot.

Ben and Leah had a party on Friday to show off their hard work. Ben designed the apartment at which the party was held, and Leah made one of the artworks on the wall. Here's just one picture from the party. Click on the photo for more.

Holiest of holies.

We have internet. Yes, you heard me right. And it's glorious. Here's a picture from our weekend at my friend Kate's lake house in the Berkshires. This is Bash Bish Falls, just over the border in NY. The water was so cold and refreshing. Especially when I fell in and my pants were soaking wet.
