Apparently the sounds I heard today just after 11:00 were of a steam explosion on the corner my apt building is on. I heard three huge booms, the first two actually shaking the building. I have no idea if anyone was hurt but Con Ed and the fire dept were there quickly and are still there now. I'm heading out in a minute and hopefully will get a better look at the sight.
My cousin Vincent Gruppuso died recently and had an obit in the Times today. He was the founder of Kozy Shack pudding company. I've loved Kozy Shack for years and always enjoyed the fact that he was a relative (my only claim to fame really - he's my Grandpa's uncle's son). Just last night Ryan, Christina and I were enjoying some of his chocolate pudding cups. RIP cous'.
Is it just me, or has it become acceptable in beauty and fashion photography for the model's mouth to look like a toothless black hole? As a photographer and appreciator of beautiful photos of women, this really bothers me. Below find some examples.
