Save Darfur, Human Rights Watch, & Doctors Without Borders are three of the primary organizations spreading awareness and providing relief for the genocide happening in the Darfur region of Sudan. So far, 400,000 people have died and nearly 3 million have been forced to flee the country's Darfur region. The purpose of the concert is to augment awareness to a crisis that remains relatively dormant in the public mind. A portion of the proceeds from the event will go towards the provision of blankets, clothing, canned rations, first aid supplies, and medical care.

Two guest speakers will inform the evening of the current crises
on-going in Sudan. Dr. Annie Sparrow, Millennium Fellow in Human
Rights at Harvard University will be speaking on behalf of Human
Rights Watch, and Kevin Phelan, Senior Press Officer of Doctors
Without Borders.

Hope to see you there.
