He's gonna kill me when he sees this, but until then, enjoy.
My mom got Ryan these PJs for his birthday. She thought he looked "adorable" (her words). Do you agree? I do.

Ryan and I went to MoMA yesterday to see Cindy Sherman's "Office Killer". Cindy was there to introduce the film. Ryan says that her introduction was only to confuse us, since he thinks that what she said was completely the opposite to what happens in the film. Basically she said that Miramax wanted to market it as a black comedy and a horror film, and she thought it was neither. Ryan and I agree with Miramax, not Cindy. Oh well, so she didn't get distribution. At least MoMA recognizes that it's worth seeing. Oh, and yes, that is Molly Ringwald.
Blackbook is letting you see their current issue online for free. No waste of paper! No papercuts! No taking up space on your shelves!
This afternoon I had the pleasure of attending the CMJ FilmFest to see Thumbsucker, a film by Mike Mills. It comes out this Friday in New York and I highly recommend that you see it. I'm not going to tell you anything about it. Just watch the trailer if you haven't seen it and trust me that it's worth your $10.50 (though I got to see it for free, plus attend a Q & A with Mike Mills afterwards). The website has a lot of neat stuff to look at too, like a photo book that Mike Mills did with Ryan McGinley and Mark Borthwick and a bunch of other photographers.
I apologize for the last-minuteness of this post. The Fatales are playing two CMJ shows this week. The first is tonight at Trash (formerly Luxx) in Williamsburg at 11pm. Here are the details for tonight's show. They're also playing on Saturday afternoon at Pianos. Here are the details for Saturday's show.
Scott Baio will be in at least one episode of Arrested Development this season. I can't wait!
